What are you looking for in a keyboard and mouse? It's impossible to recommend something when you don't put at least some guidelines.

The mouse is a little bit big, takes some getting used to. The keyboard is amazing, loving my purchase every day.

As for mouse, this is where I find it impossible to say. Everyone likes a different type of mouse, the size, the texture used, how many buttons they want/need, etc. Unless you really don't like your current mouse, just stick with it until you are able to get your hands on a nice mouse to just try out (maybe a friend gets on or something.) Bust seriously, I have bought a bunch of different mice, and always end up going back to my Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical. That being said, I think I now know what I want in a mouse in terms of feel/size/shape (it has to be ambidextrous, even though I am not left handed.)

I personally use a Razer Lachesis mouse, and a very cheap PS/2 keyboard. The only thing I dislike about my setup, is how easy my Lachesis top can get dirty, it gets some weird spots that look odd, but its a damn fine mouse. wtf? it's not a gimmick man they are very durable and some designed to have very low resistance to key presses. also those spots are dead skin cells that have built up. hehe.

I'm not sure how I feel about its predecessor. I'm seriously thinking about buying a couple G5s before they're completely gone for the future when this one eventually breaks down. Why don't you use a 518 and get an extra button?

Deathadder on Amazon It's only $44.49 instead of the price of $59.99 that's listed on newegg. Don't know how long the deal will last though

I have both a 6gv2 and a Black Widow btw, and I prefer the Black Widow. The 6gv2 has an irregular layout and I don't like the cherry black switches very much. I would sometimes inadvertently double tap. The Black Widow has an annoying glossy finish and useless macro keys, but I prefer the blue switches.
