Dear Diary,
Today I played so badly I wanna cry. I got 4-gated by gold players, bunker rushed by a terran who followed up with mass banshee off of one-ish base and it hit me hard because overlords move so fucking slowly that I couldn't scout it and I didn't think that he would go so fucking berserk with the banshees but rather concentrate on getting the second base up. And to top it off ofc he dropped a manner mule when his &%¤%%& play eventually brough the game to an end.
I swear I don't know if I can really keep going with StarCraft the way shit goes down sometimes. I just feel hate right now. I just want to know how the fugidoodely it can be that one day I'm facing diamond players, and the next day I can lose to some happy go lucky banshee masser from gold. It's. So. Irritating.
And of course, I played like 50% zvz, 40% zvp and 10% zvt.
God I so really don't feel very enthusiastic when it comes to ZvZ.

I feel ya man, ZvZ is a big reason why I avoid ladder. The only solution I've found is to find practice partners, they always help me get excited to play the game again because to me they are seen as competition you can communicate with so you make yourself get better to impress them which means you have to play more games.
and most maps you should be sending your 1st overlord in the direction of their base, by the 6-7 min mark your overlord should be there ready to sac itself. Also sending in that drone scout to see if they went gas first or got a gas after rax is a big indicator of what they will do.

haha...I remember getting two-port bansheed by a terran. He actually combined it with a hellion attack, it was the ultimate cheese. And I was really annoyed because all the time I was thinking "how do I scout this with slow overlords...and when my zerglings can't get in?!".
So I just hoped it wouldn't happen in the future and played on. Tough luck!

I feel for you. I'm having a similar experience in LoL.
My opponents are always too good or my team too inexperienced. Just concluded a six-game losing streak.

Everyone is going to have their bad days, and either play horribly or get the matchup they hate the most 9/10 times. What you need to do in response is take these losses and see what you can do to make yourself better. In the end the only person who can end a bad day is yourself.

Today I got proxy 2 raxed on Cloud Kingdom, 4 gated, proxy 2 gated, and cannon rushed. I haven't been cheesed in weeks, so it really sucked, but I just kept playing because if you don't lose the game becomes extremely boring.

Yeah I know. Only I feel that I've done that enough, you know. It's like i get worse at this game. I've progressed from bronze to plat to gigh plat, and then from time to time I dip loooow into gold. Wtf? It's really tiring me. And unfortunately it seems that my personality prefers sulking and being pissed to analyzing and trying to redeem my play. Damn my loser personality!
