Something odd is affecting my play.. sweaty hands. When I get into the late game, and my mouse hand is all sweaty it honestly distraces me A LOT.

I've tried multiple things.. Air conditioner on, window open (which then leads too really cold hands, which is another problem), a towel, but my hands are still sweaty after every game.

Am I destined to always be plagued by this? I know FXO gumiho plays which a towel literally on his hands or something. I know not everyone sweats that much, but I do (particularly my house hand which is up against the mouse, hence causing friction and heat).

What do you do to prevent this? I think it could be my mouse/hand positioning, causing too much friction. Or do you just play through it?

I would like information on this as well, sweating hands are the main reason I have trouble playing more than 2+ games in a row.

Chalk/resin bags. It's the same stuff baseball players use and pool players. It helps a lot

I have always played with a towel near me to dry my hands between games. I cannot stand console gaming because my hands get so sweaty holding a controller.

If it's really bad for you, an option would be to rub your hands with corn starch, it would make an absolute mess but it would surely keep them dry!

Tbh, it is something you will most likely have to just play through.

Try using a pair of wristbands (the kind that tennis players wear). Not only do they absorb a lot of the sweat around your hands, but also help reduce strain on your wrists while you play. I'll never be gaming (or golfing) without them!

is this a problem you have outside of gaming? if so, it may be a medical condition.

SC is a stressful game. When you're playing your mind feels like it's in danger and very stressed out so your body is releasing adrenaline so your muscles can spring to action and save you. But since you're playing a video game, there is no real danger, and you're mostly sitting in one place. So a lot of the energy in your muscles just go away as heat. It might be better to take some breaks and stretch or move a bit and keep yourself cool somehow.

Warm up your hands before you play. Actually make sure your whole body is warmed up before you play. (push-ups, running, hot shower, etc.)

Playing while cold (especially if you have any nerve issues) is bound to make you sweat. Unless you play the game extremely hard it's much more likely that nerves are the main cause of it.

If this doesn't help, you'll probably just have to get used to it.

I've had sweaty hands for years, it's nerves. Just relax and don't worry about it. Nothing you can do about it, the more you think about it the worse it is (for me at least).

The sweat my right hand produces is insane atm, I can't even finish a game without asking for a few pauses to use a towel / try to dry my mousepad...

I tried playing with a towel around my mouse but it takes away way too much precision. I'm about to give up on my passion because of this issue. If I use antiperspirant on my hand it just starts sweating more to get rid of it.

I was about to break 1.4k points in masters and then my hand started sweating like crazy again and bam lost 200 points because I can't use my mouse properly.

If anyone has found a solution that lets you keep some mouse precision please tell me, I'm close to fucking crying out here.
