So a little introduction here, about a year ago me and a couple of friends created the clan ABSX or Abstruse Gaming, after a year of it being a friendly clan of friends we now have aspirations of becoming something larger than that because of our skill level high diamond-Grandmasters we feel we have a chance at being something a bit more than what we are now.
But pulling people towards our clan when there are tons of others out there seems to be the most difficult thing of all ha, but we plan on on community events to generate interest into our clan like free coaching events as I'll explain below.
as it stands now we're recruiting b-team players as well as adding a couple players to our a team and practice pool, Though overall we're looking for a competent person to manage the team on a trial basis
One of our current ideas is giving free coaching to players bronze -high diamond to improve their play

If you want to be taken seriously as a team... buy a domain, get a real site, find some sponsors maybe.
That's the kind of thing that draws in players.

I'd be interested in the coaching. I'm 20 and started playing SC2 last season, finished #1 Bronze as Protoss and got promoted to Silver. Today i'm about to start laddering for Season 6 and aim to finish #1 again once I improve a bit. I'll try and play most days.
If you decide to buy a domain and make a website, I'll happily help with the setting up, design and.or management of it if you'd like. I work in Online Marketing and SEO (search engine optimisation) to increase online traffic & members for new and established websites. Also skilled in HTML/CSS coding, graphic design, PPC advertising, and obviously SEO (one of the most important skills for building online presence) :D

Thanks for the support! I'm aware of the lack of content but they're may be a couple clan events hosted for the community in the near future  I'll keep you all posted and were getting on the domain but as it stands now this is fine for us. I really appreciate the feedback and offers for help though!

Platinum terran here, and I just finished some training Abstruse is offering to the lower leagues. They spent plenty of time with me, adding on more and more of their players to the skype call to add insight into where I need to improve my play over 5 of my replays. I did not expect they would offer this much time from several of their members at once, so definitely take advantage of this time they have committed to spending with you!

Just finished a session with one of the members of the team, and felt much more confident afterward. The team helped as a whole, bringing in their members in the skype call to take the time to play with me. My coach also was very calm, and spent a good amount of time going over replays, explaining matchups, answering questions, and showing me build orders: his experience and understanding of the game definitely shows through his coaching. Time with these players was very well spent, and I really appreciate the large extent with which I was given assistance

hello there! Id like to have a coach to i can improve =) started 2 weeks ago , im bronze and already beat silvers and gold 2 times , got some plat/diamond friends but none of them are protoss =( . Considering i started 2 weeks ago , i think im good , but of course i'd like to iomprove so if you guys ever wanna coach mew my IGN is ZEBy and code :860 on NA server

Posting a roster on your site would probably be a good idea. Not many new clans have grandmasters in their roster and I think just the chance to have GM players as practice partners/coaches will draw some attention to you guys. Just use something like sc2ranks custom division feature.

Just had a coaching session with a member of their team. The coach was imformative and to the point with his explinations. Learned a lot about particular timings and when to do this and that. Looking forward to more coaching! Much appreciated!
