Hey TL,
I've recently landed in China to study for a semester, it's really interesting so far, super different to Australia at least. I was wondering of anyone else was in China was able to watch the GSL? I know there were some talks about a Chinese version but I'm not sure how that's going now? I've been a loyal GSL subscriber since the beginning and would hate to fall out in the next few months :/
I don't know anything about getting access to vods or a live stream, that's a bad exaMPle isn't it?
Cheers!

Apparently, GSL is blocked in China, there was a thread on TL sometime ago some company purchased the rights to broadcast GSL in China for USD150k

I've tried to do so, as I was in Xiamen for half a year. Count on it that streams are near-impossible if they ain't domestic.
EDIT: I managed to get GSL working but the internet is often very unstable. This stops you from watching a stream due to buffer issues

Hi,
I don't watch SC2, but I'm pretty sure that GSL is restreamed for free like every other competitive games on PPS and/or PPLive. You'll find more there : http://sc2.plu.cn/

im in china too at this moment ^^ but my semester will end in 6 days. i used a proxy to acces all the stuff that is blocked in china, like YT FB etc pp
you can try and look for "hotspot shield" but as already mentioned the buffering problem can sometimes be a pain in the ass. there are days where all is fine and some days, its like watching it frame for frame.
but other streams are fine (morrow, tlo, idra, catz), some are laggy again (white-ra, dimaga)
