cant vote for anything. says invalid session token

Awww .... indeed ;( damn
edit : oh well, there goes the formatting :-(
|
I voted! TvP is a nightmare, still.

ZvP because I gotta do so much more, scout for pylons, ovie scout to see if he's sky or ground, once we fight I gotta deal with FFs and later collossi+FFs, DTs will come out eventually so gotta be ready for that, hold off his pressure on my third, get burrow, etc. Whereas VS terran I just mass lings with some commando mutas without even scouting. lol.
Confessions of a lazy zerg

Reformated back with new code, hopefully it still works!

Yeah I had a hard time with the format, it should be fixed now.
|
I am a noob, but zvz seems to be pretty insane all the up through the pro's, i need to watch more ret replays
|
I personally can't win a TvP for my life. Either I rush with only marauders, either I end up losing to the deathball, 100%. Been watching a lot of pro vods/replays and they seem to struggle too :-(

When I play Terran, Zerg is a cakewalk and Protoss is tough. When playing Protoss it's the other way around, Zerg is a lot harder .

Protoss here; id say halfway between Terran and Protoss because i suck at the early game of both. If the game goes on for 20+ minutes it turns into zerg though

Invalid session token, please check you are trying to vote from a valid link.

"Invalid session token" error.
But as Terran, I have to say Protoss. I used to have like a 90% win rate in silver / gold when the only build I used was the 1/1/1. But I felt like I wanted to learn to play macro games too. So my win rate dropped to about 10%.
I'm finally getting to the stage where I can trade cost effiectively against mid-game gateway / colossus blobs. I do ok sometimes against HTs if I get enough ghosts in time, but when that evolves to zealot archon, I just die.
I tend to go mech in TvZ, but that's been getting a lot harder lately. Maybe because I'm moving gradually up, but it seems like zergs are finally figuring out what to do against it (maybe because more terrans are going mech). Anyway, TvZ is something I'll probably have to work on soon.

Also get the erro.
As a Terran, I would say every matchup is managable for me. When I switched race, TvT was tough, especially since I use Bio or Biomech and playing against pure Mech was a pain in the ass until I learned how to manage. TvP is especially tough once you reach the later stages of the game, when the Protoss gets his deathball rollin', but I can win against it. TvZ is my best matchup.
When I played Protoss, the mirror matchup killed me since I didn't know what the fuck I should be doing. I used to fast expand on pretty much every matchup, but it was so hard to even expand on PvP I just gave up on it altogether and quit every PvP before the 10 second mark.

I voted TvT, ZvZ, PvZ, and RvZ (I'm a random player). I only chose RvZ because I have trouble with ZvZ and PvZ, though.

TvT, PvT, and ZvT, except I accidently clicked ZvP, and RvT. Terran D:

TvP PvZ Didn't vote on Z RvP

tvt I think is super tricky for players new to the match up, with all the styles, openings, early aggression tactics and the like. Over time it gets to be more manageable, and the other match ups get to be harder when z and p learn to hold attacks.

ZvZ man. What protoss players complain about on Taldarim altar is pretty much standard ZVZ on every map - Some spammy douchebag who wants to do a 1base baneling all-in EVERY ZVZ because he'd rather win with micro than by having to deal with macroing more than 1 hatchery. I really, REALLY hate it... my micro is bad because of course, like any non-grand-master player, I focus on macro first.
I mean, I actually think ZvP is harder, but at least I get to make a couple bases before I lose in that matchup. In ZVZ its just, baneling all ins, all day, every day, no matter what I open with, no matter if my opponent scouts or not. Its horrible.

Apparently everyone is having an east time vT.

From my experience playing terran, it's really fragile. Mistakes can be punished badly (no stim/late siege/late turrets vs Z). But, at high levels, it's pretty obvious that terran can be really good. It's just hard to play well.

This, along with curiosity, is one of the reason I made these polls. Despite what I read here and there (in stream chat mostly, I know...), I really feel that Terran is weak. But you said it better, demanding and unforgiving, and not everyone is a Code S player.
High risk high reward though, and I enjoy playing them a lot. Except when I face Protoss, where I could as well just gg at the start, really. I think I'll go try mech, watching the daily about it atm
Edit : back on topic I'm a bit surprised with Z results, I honestly thought they would place Terran as their most difficult matchup (I have a rather easy time versus Z, it feels easy).

according to sc2 gears my pvt is 49%, pvp 55%, pvz 60%, sample size ~1k games over half a year... no idea how I lose so much to terran when protoss is supposedly OP at mid master level :D
basically if terran is aggressive at any point between 7 minutes and 14 minutes I roll over and gg

I have the highest win rate in TvT, don't even need to check my numbers to know that. I feel pretty comfortable at every stage in the game and I enjoy the positioning wars with tanks and such.
TvZ I'm probably closer to 50/50 at. I'm not very good at defending baneling busts but other things like roach all-ins aren't that tough for me. I kill a lot of Zergs in the midgame phase by planting down extra turrets and doing exceptionally tank-heavy pushes. Late game is a bitch though. Transitioning into ghosts without dying is very hard, and brood lords feel like an auto-gg if you don't have the right units out exactly on time. I still win sometimes but it requires me playing much better than my Zerg opponent.
TvP is just retarded. I gave up on macro games months ago because bio is so dumb and the deathball is even dumber. I usually either do a 1/1/1 or a 2 base all-in with thors and banshees. The matchup is terrible in every way.

A tank lover, in a nutshell (derp).
Care to share some replays of your 2 base all-in TvP? Tried to mech a bit tonight and I did last quite a lot longer than usual, banshees harass and occasional hellion run-bys seem to indeed hold the toss in his base. Still loss to mass stalkers/immo 1a after a while, but managed to push him back one or 2 times, quite the unusual stuff for me ^_^

i agree

LOL the hardest match up for toss is zerg, and the hardest match up for zerg is toss. I'm surprised they don't all end in a draw.
