Why I love NSHS_Seal, and you should too.

The game starts pretty normally

Both players open hatch first with sen's scouting drone giving minor delay to Seal's hatch


After some relatively uneventful lings running around and both putting up defensive banelings and a couple spines, both players get up all 4 gases and move to lair tech. You can see on the mini-map Seal has scouted the gasses at the nat of Sen. You can also see a little bit of creep spread towards the lower natural for Seal.


This was the basic posture for both players with some defensive banelings and a spire on the way for Seal.

Some more ling/baneling micro wars take place with sen having the larger force but seal having the better and more efficient usage of his army

Dat 1 ling to 1 bane micro

As somewhat expected with 4 gasses both players went mutas. However due to being more efficient in the ling/bane wars Seal was left with more mutas driving Sen's mutas away from his 3rd and taking complete control of the game. Sen also tried a counter attack of about 10 lings at the third after that was taken out with 1 well micro'd bane.


Seal has pushed Sen all the way back to his third and still outnumbers him in mutas. Also, as seen on the mini-map, sen tries another ling counter at seals third which seal starts to clean up with more lings and banes of his own.

So Puzzle opens up ffe, and Seal opens 12 pool 18 hatch followed by a fast third. He then goes really light on roaches and lings while teching to infestors. Naturally in PvZ puzzle hits with a sick 2 base timing attack of gateway units that should crush through the small army of seal. Ling roach vs 5 sentries, a handful of zealots and a lot of stalkers does not look promising. But dat creep spread at the 11 min mark

So seal loses his third, and is going to lose his natural as well. Instead of trying to defend he boxes his whole army and goes for the counter.

So seal loses his natural and decides to do all he can to defend his main and only his main. He puts up a bunch of spines, thus hindering Puzzles ability to break into seals main. You can notice on the mini map that seal has taken down the natural nexus of puzzle and is in the main causing havoc now. This is cleaned up pretty easily and puzzle has a HARD contain on the outside of seals base.

Seal decides that the only way back into this game is Guerilla Warfare. He is right. He decides to try to sneak an expansion and make infestors. The expansion is spotted immediately, the infestors however, are not.

Seal, having researched burrow, then decides to take his biggest risk of the game. He knows puzzle is right outside his base with a huge army (he sends in changelings regularly and scouts for a obs SO SMART), so he burrows 6 infestors and moves them to do some damage. Mind you he is down 83 food and at least 1 base to his knowledge

Seal scouts a 3rd being taken at the gold, but says FUCK THAT, i got infestors im going to do some heavy damage. he goes to the natural and MAKES IT RAIN like a baws

Having done so much damage to the natural puzzle is forced to pull back from his contain on seals main. This allows seal to finally retake his natural (18 minutes in). Finally, Seal makes a dent in the food differential. I can smell what he's cooking, and its comeback.

Puzzle in the mean time has decided to go stargate. Through constant changeling scouting of puzzles main, seal is prepared. 5 phoenix's get to seals main, and BOOM 2 queens, 2 spores and a couple infestors are ready to scare them off.

Moving all his spines to his natural seal knows he is still really really far behind. He tries a ling counter at Puzzles gold proving effective to draw puzzles army away, but ineffective in terms of damage done.

Notice on the minimap seal sees that puzzle has not re-taken his natural and its to be assumed his main is mined out or close too. therefore seal decides that his nuts are once again the biggest in the game and that its time for another infestor burrow run. This time with more infestors!

Once again, changeling scouts have kept seal in this game. He is constantly using them. He knows there is no cannons or protection in the main of puzzle, yet all of his production is there. He calls up the terror squad and says its time to MAKE IT RAIN, again.

After killing the main nexus and a bunch of pylons, seal escapes with his burrowed infestors. He then send in some lings to clean up some pylons and assimilators left in the natural of puzzle. Remember that EVERY kill counts when you are still at half the food of your opponent.

Down over 60 food, Seal decides that he, and he alone, is the boss. What the fuck are units to a boss, hes gonna move the fuck out and put on the PRESSURE. Who cares if he is completely out numbered, hes got spines and DAT CREEP.

Seal, having scouted a nexus at Puzzles natural, and seeing puzzle posturing outside his 3rd, sends 8 burrowed infestors to once again, kill everything puzzle has at his base.

Puzzle Realizes that its go or die time, he has no natural, barely and production and is supply blocked yet again. Puzzle tries to put together a final push against the massive infestor army of Seal.
