The #1 thing you will find from watching these VoDs is how to engage with marine/tank against ling/bling muta if you, like me, have crappy splitting skills. That being said, I focus on different sections in each VoD:
1) insight into mundane mechanics: talking about the WAY I micro, how /why i set rally points, how I scout, what i scout for, etc. I make huge mistakes in this all the time but there's plenty to share with developing players. I will cover things as basic as building placement, infrastructure management, and timing for teching and upgrading. I go over that in my first annotated TvZ VoD here:
2) insight into strategic decision making: At a very basic level, knowing when to attack and when to cower/turtle is pretty important, especially in TvZ. I make mistakes in terms of mechanics and decisionmaking, but recognizing a timing and jumping through that window is something I can share. I go over that in my second annotated TvZ VoD here:
Disclaimer: I am in low Master League. There are obvious errors in my play, most of which i point out. However, if you are far below me in terms of league, there should be something for you to learn here, at least about the thought process. Feel free to ask questions and the like, and I'll answer them and add more annotations.
