First off, screw destiny. You just banned me on your chat for asking why own3d.tv was lagging and if anyone else was lagging; yet you have trolls that you let run wild on your chat. I was asking a simple question, that's all.
I'm in my second week (going on third) week of classes at UCF. I love the campus. It's fantastic in the sense that I can have access to anything I want at almost any time. The amount of things, places and people to see are astounding. With a student body of 50,000, I'm very happy that it is so well organized. Nonetheless, I must say that the financial aid situation, book buying situation and extremely large class sizes are definitely a negative. I'm not a fan of auditorium size class rooms. There is absolutely no communication with the professors.
Also, the ATT service on campus is horrid. I cannot make phone calls or use my internet. This is annoying because my phone also won't connect to their wifi. I'm basically internet-less, text-less and phone call-less for 8 hours when I'm there. It's very disappointing to be cut off from my e-world. I hope when my laptop comes I'll be able to connect and roam around.
One thing that I love is the amount of bike riders. I ride bmx, and I've never seen so many bikes! It makes me happy.
Part 2:
I finally ordered a laptop. It's pretty damn sexy for the price. Unfortunately it will not be here until the 1st week of February. My current dell inspiron 1520 isn't working well. The screen has to be held up by a book, the charger doesn't work and half of my keys I have to press extremely hard to work. I cannot wait to play some games. It's been over 2 months since I've played anything.
Part 3:
My dad was in a car accident yesterday morning. Someone made a left in front of him and my dad t-boned him. It was the guys fault and he unfortunately has a lot of tickets and over 5 grand in damages to pay. What sucks is that this car was brand new and it's the only car between my mother, father and sister. They all share one car. This has put me in a predicament because I'm a full time student, and I also work 35 hours a week. It's nearly impossible to find free time, let alone play chauffeur. I hope the other guys insurance can get it taken care of as soon as possible.
Nonetheless, last night I went to a club to see my friends band open for Afroman. The sound was HORRIBLE. It's a hip hop group, and all you could hear was the background music. The mics weren't turned up enough,..And unlike most hip hop groups, they don't have their vocals in their song (just instrumentals) I'll post a video later.
Last, but not least...My friends mom ran into me at the bar last night...Later I get a text from said friend saying, "My mom wants you to call her tomorrow." I'm a bit confused. What does this imply? His mom is quite a looker and she's really cool, but what could she want to talk to a 22 year old about?
