I hope Machine does better in the upcoming year as well and I'm sure it is very possible to see him start to win his way higher and higher but don't belittle people because they bring facts into their arguments. People I love don't perform well either but I don't sugar coat it for myself and pretend not to notice.

Negative comments don't belong here, as was said previously.

To answer your question, because of his surrounding. He's now surrounded by some of the best players in the world for PP and instead of isolated practice, they're doing a team training style of practicing which should be really good for Machine. On a related note, please don't bring anything negative to this thread. lol. "anybody who disagrees with me is an asshole and is being negative so don't disagree with me"

So I have to agree that Machine is not the best SCII player, or even close to it. He's the kinda player that I think of Destiny to be like. Destiny is an interesting guy, OCCASIONALLY has a great game everyone talks about, but is working his ass off to improve and has a lot to improve on. Last MLG, there were few players I was actually really impressed by. Namely Lennock, MACHINE, HAYPRO, and Naniwa. Everyone else I knew had it in them to be "champions" or to compete with the top. Naniwa more or less I knew had it in him, but he did it like a baller, finishing in 2nd. Leenock was obviously not quite a no name, but this was his breakout tournie, and at such a young age. Machine and Haypro's games vs. NesTea/Mvp impressed the hell out of me. Machine only played NesTea (spoiler alert: he lost) but this was leagues and leagues ahead of what I was used to seeing out of machine. Machine never looked at the top of his game, always like he was tilting or something. I always felt like he knew what was going wrong, but never was able to translate to "success" in a tournament setting. Haypro quite honestly just played amazingly and I didn't even realize that he could play that well. Just completely surprising results. Machine has been improving so much the last few months I have to say. He's getting much better and if he can get to Korea, or practice with JYP/PuMa a lot more, that would be great for him. IdrA, JYP and PuMa are all great players and this is just a recipe for success for all the EG players, particularly HuK and Machine. Now to bring the post back to comparing Machine and Destiny, here's what I have to say. Machine has a different outlook when he practices. Destiny just gets pissed off, somewhat like how IdrA used to be. Machine seems like he never bitches and whines about the game, he just asks what he could've done better. Machine also has IdrA as a Zerg "rolemodel," so he has that going for him as well. I like seeing players that are nice irl get better at SCII, and I hope that Machine gets into top 10 or 8 or something next MLG. Gl Machine! :D

Don't you think it's a little ironic that Machine is so hard on himself while you crack down on every bit of (justified) negativity? Do you think he'd want this kind of hype thread? If you're so convinced of Machine's skill that you won't tolerate any doubts whatsoever why bother making a blog on an open forum with thousands of people whose opinions are different from your own? What's with the racism? I'm sure that's against some rules here.

He comes off as a really nice, passionate person, and I hope he achieves success soon. hahaha, I must have missed this one first time around. Thanks for reposting it :D

Definitely a guy who could come out big one day, just like Haypro. I dont know why he stays low profile though, If he reached out to the community more with streamed commentary of his own games or appearing on more talkshows, I think he'd be as popular a personality as incontrol. He's just so damn nice that you can almost feel the benevolence radiating from him
