I just wanted to give my support, I lack any medical knowledge so I can't really chip in on the information you need, but I wish your nephew the best and hope he regains his memory soon.

I just wanted to update everybody that he is OK and 100% back to normal. (Well, relatively)

Anyways. he's gotta spend the next few days at home being watched and we'll have to run tests on him to see if he suffered anything majorly.

Just found out the driver works for the city of Bend. We expect the city to settle this out of court but we'll see. The guy is claiming it's my nephews fault for being too close to the road. Not my nephew's fault though. There is NO sidewalk that leads up to the bus stop and the bus stop is just a tiny little slab of concrete with a bench, road goes RIGHT next to it. It has been snowing and raining, so the dirt next to the road was just one huge mud pit. Nobody would walk in that when the road is available and there is a small bike lane to walk in.

They basically told him that I was his friend and I was chosen to reintroduce him to the people he was close to. Eventually all his memories did return and things were completely back to normal. His injury was caused by a blow to the head as well. I hope this helps a little and I hope your nephew pulls through.

Its good to hear that your nephew is all right. I can only imagine how nervous you and your family must have been. Hope he makes a full and complete recovery.
