EPTI actually started playing team games yesterday, and because I messed around in the 4v4 placement matches I practically just threw games away. To be honest, I entered 4v4 to just troll people with wonky builds and see how they react, I never actually play a serious game in 4v4. But, much to my surprise, after about 4 straight wins with random teammates I got this:

I know, I have no idea why I didn't screen-cap this instead...
Huh.. A league promotion? Well that's the first time I've ever seen that message pop up in my SC2 career. The only other time I seen something similar are just new season placement matches. Well, that actually somewhat surprised me since I didn't take 4v4 seriously at all I was quite amazed I can even get a promotion in the league. This was a great milestone (not really), but also a let down because this means I can't troll anymore T_T....
Bronze to Silver wasn't a big change at all, but I just wish I could see that pop up into Platinum when I play 1v1s. I've been in Silver pretty much the majority of my career so I know what I'm up against. I continued to play today but I went offrace a lot. Playing Terran more now helps me get better at another race, and while that's not necessarily helpful to my main Protoss, it helps me have fun.
So today I play roughly 10+ 4v4s... Won about 7/10 of those, not bad but considering it was in Silver league I really wasn't too ecstatic about it. Just a minute ago though, I went back to playing my main Protoss and won the last game with my teammates handily. It was on Toxic Slums and I was surprised it went on longer than 10 minutes haha... most team games are just straight rushes or cheeses... And then I got this:

WELL I'll be darned... 2 promotions in 2 days?! I must be a leprechaun or maybe getting better. I'd rather be getting better though. At what's even better(or worse) is that it placed me straight into rank 1 of the Gold division. I was actually pretty shocked at this one since I thought I did pretty decent when I won that previous game. I was sloppy and couldn't really focus so this actually woke me up a bit.
Hmmm... perhaps I should play more team games tomorrow and see if I can get Platinum! Or better yet, work on 1v1s and get THAT to Platinum.
This is more of a brag-blog than anything, but I'd just like to share my experience with you guys. Hopefully you guys can get lucky like I did!
