Am i the only one who once they join a stream that has roughly 5 viewers and your the only one interacting to feel somewhat bad or guilty to leaving that stream? I'm not saying anything based on their races as i enjoy watching all regardless of entertainment, just for builds or to learn, but sometimes when people casting or two people casting a game and no one watches, it kind of feels bad to leave that once you start to talk to them, I know some people kind of just laugh it off as in "I know ill never be well known" or "No one would ever like to watch me" but i mean everyone should be given a chance regardless of being featured or not. I'm not saying watch it even though you do not enjoy it, but at least give any streamers that fit your requirements in the Live Streams list to engage you into watching to not just join and leave right away, it's not like all of us are entertaining every moment of our lives.

I guess it's kind of a silly topic, just trying to say how i feel in the topic of non-known or non-featured streamers.

TL;DR: I feel guilty for i guess leaving peoples streams once i start talking to them, give every streamer a chance ♥

Yes, all the time. But they're setting themselves up to be disappointed if they do it purely for spectators or recognition.

Definitely. I was just thinking about this the other day too. Being one of the few main viewers of one of the streams I turn on a lot, I always have to think twice about joining it. If I do join it, then I feel like I have to stay a while after saying "hi" because I feel bad leaving after such a short time. I also feel weird not saying "hi" when I join because the broadcaster is able to see me in his viewers list. I really prefer there being the other few main viewers other than me so I can chat with them. But when there's not, It gets kinda lonely just watching the stream with only the broadcaster to hear your opinions.

As one of those little-known streamers, let me say don't worry, I don't take it personally. I like getting to talk to pretty much anybody. If you really like what you see, hitting the follow button is a good way to show that you care and are still interested.

Yes but it is the common case with foreigners, most koreans that stream are well known and 100+ people will watch them regardless rather than European and American players streaming and not being recognized

I like joining streams with very little people (all unfeatured streams really...)

Half the time they ignore me and I leave. When they interact it is really fun though. Leaving makes me sad but its gotta happen =/

Time to join a random persons stream!

Lol. I thought I am the only one. And you're right... it's sad when they actually interact and explain stuff, builds, and overall questions you ask. If not my bad pc that might lag sc2 even on lowest details I would keep their stream just for the sake of it and check it once a while with alt-tab . People like vVv Titan did great job doing builds people wrote on chat.

as a streamer that gain relatively small (but still significant to me) popularity, early on i did not mind one bit if people left. though i do appreciate if they leave something in chat saying goodbye, even if it's "don't really like your streaming, bye" just acknowledgment that i am a human who is streaming starcraft is enough for me ^^

as a streamer that has no consisent viewers aside from a friend, i get this feeling everytime someone leaves me stream without saying anything, unless i'm in the tournament section in which case i accept that when i lose they will leave, i feel the same when viewing a non famous stream as well

Good to get the streamer's perspectives in here. I'm much more concerned about how my leaving makes a streamer with few viewers feel than with any general duty or compulsion that might exist to remain in-stream.

Also, streams are a great way to practice second languages .

Usually, I only stream to just goof around with friends, so viewer number isn't too big of a deal for me. ...Although it is a little saddening when your viewer number drops from 12 to 5 hahah

Pretty much this but it only applies to streams outside of TL(considering that featured BW streams always have enough viewers).

You dont need to stay on a small stream but it is good to support the smaller scale players.

I love watching streams with not a lot of people. Most times the streamers love talking to you. I'm not saying I don't enjoy the bigger streams, but most of the time I'll be in one where I\m talking to the streamer

Why else would you stream though? If you're looking for advice on play, you would have some spectators.
