Hello TL! I just want to introduce myself finally as I have been here for a while now mostly lurking. I've seen so many great blogs here I feel like I want to be a part of the greatness.
Some data on myself.. well I'm 17 years old, 5'4" and 135.12 lb. with blond hair and a sweet style. Living with my parents for now, but I'll be moving out as soon as I get a job and buy a car with a trunk. Life looks so much easier on the outside, I feel trapped in here. Like, anyone else sick of parents telling you to spend less time on "video games"? This isn't just video games, Mother. This is Starcraft.
So anyway I got into BW a few years back and I was instantly hooked. I'm usually really good at things I try casually for the first time so it was a lot of fun. I just watched the pros and did what they did exactly, but with 40 APM. They all just spam to 400, right?
Being a really naturally talented gamer, I easily climbed to the coveted D+ ranking on iCCup faster than my friends who played one game a month did. Could have climbed further, but I stopped playing after that quick two years. I'm actually around the B+ level skill-wise if I can be honest.
Playing SC2 hardcore now.. stupid cheesers keeping me down from my true league. As soon as I break out of silver into masters I'll be free from cheese and won't lose anymore. Like, I just played a match and went 100% standard and lost to a cloaked banshee. See what I mean? Cheese. I'm not going to post the replay because.. well but do you think I should have scouted earlier? The game lasted 37 minutes. I think I need a new keyboard and this mouse is probably what's holding back my eSports talent.
This isn't a girl blog, but I'll talk about a girl anyway in my blog that isn't a girl blog. I met this one at Starbucks. We were in line together. She was in front of me and I had been looking at her neck for a while. The line was moving slow and there wasn't much else to look at, you know? One of those coffee run interns going down his list at the front of the line taking forever.. She had a really nice neck and I wanted to say something to her. I finally said, "wow this line is moving so fast, huh?". I don't think she knew I was talking to her so I tapped on her neck three times and then repeated it exactly. Not sure if she got the irony of the joke. She said something in french and scratched back of her neck, leaving some really cute red lines. That's also when I noticed how much older than me she was. She didn't seem very interested in me, but I still like her and will surely pursue this matter further.
Another thing you will probably find interesting about me is that my grades were amazing in high school. My parents say I'm gifted. But.. I'm in uni now and the work load is ridiculous. I'm getting ahead by taking 17 courses at once and I don't know how they can expect me to keep up with all the work. What a joke school. My psych teacher usually talks to me after class and just asks me weird questions as if she thinks I'm some kind of sociopath. I think she just wants my body. I'm ready for her. Advice?
