Hey TL!
Some of you may or may not remember, but this summer I attempted a "Pro-gamer for a day" experiment that failed miserably (http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?id=252604).
Tomorrow I'm going to attempt it again and hopefully this time I can make it! I have like ZERO commitments tomorrow (my thanksgiving break starts tomorrow) and I'll still be at school for the whole day doing absolutely nothing but playing Starcraft 2. My goal is about 8-9 hours of play.
There are two main differences between this summer's experiment and tomorrow's go at it: I will be playing zerg (last time I was terran. I got tired of "being OP" so I switched, deranked myself to bronze, and worked my way back up to platinum), and I will be playing from my apartment at college with absolutely no distractions.
Here's the schedule I'm running with tomorrow:
9:00 wake and do morning routine
9:30 - 12:30 Ladder games
12:30 - 1:30 lunch
1:30 - 6:00 Ladder games with small breaks every hour (like to pee, move around a bit, etc.)
6:00 - Call it a day
That's a seven and a half hour day. I know that's thirty minutes short of a true "work day" but my apartment kicks me out for school breaks at 6:00 pm (it's a school owned apartment).
But hopefully I'll be able to stream the whole thing: twitch.tv/imjorman and commentate for some games.
During every ladder session I'll be reviewing questionable games and keeping a notepad of all the things that I need to improve on. This means that at the end of the day, hopefully, I'll have a nice notepad of things I can consistently work on in my future games.
Objectives
[ ] Successfully play the full 7.5 hours
[ ] Work on keeping queen injects constant. Never missing an inject and constantly keeping money low (so basically, improve macro)
[ ] Work on transitioning from ling/bling to roach/infestor in ZvZ
Bonus points
[ ] Get promoted to diamond
[ ] Get 50 concurrent viewers on stream (^ ^)

WTF? Your school-owned apartment kicks you out for what reason?? I've never heard of anything like this, that's so weird.

This. There not like apartments like anyone and their brother can rent them, its like I can either live in a dorm room with one other person or a three bed two bath apartment with 6 people. I choose the apartment cause I feel more "adult like" lol
But I lucked out and don't have a roommate, its wonderful.
