MASTERS!!!

It has finally happened. Today on November 9th 2011 I was promoted to Masters League! This has been my goal in Starcraft 2 ever since the Masters League was announced and it has finally happened. I had started up SC2 today and played my first game and lost, to a masters Protoss player. I went directly into the next game where I played the same guy again. I got my revenge won the game and afterwards that promotion screen popped up. I could not believe my eyes. I just sat there in awe and smiled at my computer screen for a couple minutes. I am so pumped right now, it's feels very satisfiying to finally get into the Masters league, haha now I have to think of another SC2 goal to reach. Well time to begin my journey up the ladder as a Masters Protoss. Thank you all for the support when I posted my first blog stating that I was almost there. Now that I'm in Masters League I also plan to try and do more small tournaments (Z33k daily, Playhem (maybe) and any other smaller tournaments that I can find. I made a deal with myself that once I got to Masters I would play in some tournament more often. I played in one or two when I was at a lower level but now that I'm in Masters I think I'll try and do those more often and see where things go.

Honestly it's a pretty good game. I was on the verge of being defeated but held off a Colo push and then macroed up a huge army and won. My opponent even smack talked me a little bit thinking he was going to win easily.

Well, I can finally change my signature for my teamliquid account.

This account is now the account of a Masters Protoss.

Pick a weekly tournament and set a goal to top 3 it or something. Good luck!

Dude!!! Congratz!!! You are now forever relinquished of all the horrible connotations of being a Diamond player! You won't have to worry about being questioned in stream chat about your league anymore! You can say you're Masters with pride now =) gratz man. I'll join you one day as well.

Well done man. On my own masters quest at the moment and can only imagine how good it feels! Question! How did you keep your mentality up during harder times on ladder?
