Christmas Cello Song

So, TL, I need some help here. I am a (very)amateur cellist that has been playing for about a year and 3 months now. I play in a pretty smallish church orchestra(about 20 people of vastly different levels of skillfulness), and have been improving decently well for having started so late, and on my own(age 25). I am taking lessons from a cello major graduate, and will be getting a lot of help. But to get to the point, my orchestra director wants me to play a solo(or duet) for a Christmas special, and I can't decide between these two. I'll have a month and a half to practice, and if I go with the trio, I'll have a really good violinist to play with, so no worries there. My orchestra director will be playing the piano part herself, and she is an amazing musician, so no worries there either. As far as my playing level, I did a fairly decent rendition of Meditation from Thais for cello about 4 months ago, and am currently learning Bocherrini's Cello Sonata for two Cellos in C, if that helps you any. I'll be playing in front of about 5-600 people. So, TL, I ask you, which one do you like the best?

both my browser and media player crashes for me when i try to stream/download the song. Try making a soundcloud.com account. its probably the easiest way to share music currently.

Weird.....I don't have the mp3 downloaded for either though, and I'm on my work computer so i don't want to now. I'll have to do it when I get home.
