Hello All,
I have been following the scene for the past few weeks now and i have really taken a shine to the game, i have recently watched: MLG Orlando (Which was AWESOME go HuK!), Blizzcon, ESWC and a lot of peoples Streams.
I'm a complete novice to RTS games, i started playing online since 2004, i started with Americas Army then to playing Counter Strike Source, i have been playing in the competitive scene in both of them. I feel like a change and from watching SC2 i have fell in love with it.
I'm 22 years old from England, Lincoln. I'm currently studying Computer Science and would like to find some friends for several reasons, one cos i would like to play with some players with a little bit more experience, hopefully gain some tips along the way. Watch some games with have a good time, plus i watched a Day9 stream that said to come on here and ask for friends
I do currently only have a EU account, i'm not sure what the main use of contact is in the SC2 scene so hopefully if i have drawn a couple of peoples attention if you would like to be my 'friend' please give me some form of contact!

Been playing for a few months, I'm English and have Skype. If you want to get a bit of an intro I'm happy to help.

I just love how the SC community functions like this, whenever someone comes along and makes a thread that they're new and need help people just jump up to help them learn the game with absolutely no compensation (unless your name is Grack). If I had a EU account that didn't lag terribly bad, then I would help you. But, alas, it disconnects and lags a shitton, so I can't. Apologies, but nevertheless, glhf, hope you get to masters.
|
glhf! you make the sc2 community looks so friendly, maybe it is on the thread but not from my experience on bnet but sadly im from the NA server, GLHF!

Thanks a lot for all the great support, is there many users from the EU that actively blog that ain't 'pro gamers'?
