However, the only reason people don't like you doing this is because its a whole different lifestyle choice. "only a fool will accomplish what everyone else thinks is impossible, because only a fool will try"

You die if you don't make enough corrupters you die to colossi, and if you overmake them you die to blink stalkers. Practice using infestors!!! But Collosi melt everything dude ![]() ![]() I'd love to switch to infestors, they're my favorite unit. But how to do that effectively? Neuroparasite? Infested Terrans? I make hydra and corruptor currently just because my roach infestor got owned so bad ![]() I'm switching around my styles of play and experimenting a lot. Perhaps that's why Im still not masters yet. I prefer to learn more rather than get promoted quicker. It makes sense, cause I ultimately aim for top grandmaster anyway, not for low master.

![]() It seems like I'm having a losing streak today, so no master league promotion coming tomorrow... I got rly cold 2 days ago when I was walking outside and my immune system is recovering from that. As a result, my thinking is very clouded. I just had a gazillion hellions in my base all game long ![]() But to hell with that, I'm still gonna be practicing even if I think too slow and lose everything I play. I get more experienced with every game I play, so I'll win even more once I feel better ![]()

![]() I remember that quote, its so cool. This thread gave me an amazing motivation boost. I played 25 games today, even though I felt so shitty I thought I won't make it past 10. I was getting much more frustrated than usual after the losses. It's hard to keep going when Im on a losing streak and losing 20 games out of 25. But today I kept practicing and learning ![]() Also, dealing with losses seems to be a skill by itself. In the past, if I was getting so frustrated I would stop playing until the next day, because I would be too scared I'd hurt myself or my PC out of the frustration. It can rly get to me when I'm tired after long practice. But I'm handling losses better and better ![]()

don't give up man. some people have natural aptitude at things, and shine without much practice. others have to work double as hard to get to that level. just practice hard. hard as you possibly can.

I do that switching around because I aim for tournament victories rather than just being high on the ladder. On ladder I need 1 perfected strategy for each matchup. For tournament BO5s I want to be unpredictable, thus I want to master different styles. I think if I stuck to what I do best in ZvP and terrans suddenly stopped playing mech ![]() ![]() On October 24 2011 09:22 Plexa wrote: Would you mind uploading a rep pack? Me or apalemorning? I upload replays on this blog now and then. It might be quite an idea to upload a replay pack of every week. Sounds easy enough to do... I'll edit the main post!

Having 5 different but poorly executed strategies won't even get you to the bo5 stage of most tournaments.
