I think if I had 6 months/1 month/1 week to live, I would definitely not play Starcraft 2, mostly because I have a list of "things I want to do before I die" and regardless of whether or not "play SC2" makes that list, I've already done it. I can check that one off, at least to some degree. That one seems easy. If I have a natural lifespan but don't need to work for money, however, I need something to fill "the void" that work normally fills. I think I would spend some time traveling, hiking, etc., but sitting on a beautiful beach all day doesn't strike me as the most engaging way to spend a life. I think my question then becomes one of the following: 1) Do I play a lot of SC2? Or, is SC2 robust enough to build a life around? or 2) Do I play SC2 casually? Or, given mostly unlimited means, is SC2 one of the most entertaining/fun/relaxing activities I could engage in? | ||
