Hi all, I've recently started using the music player 'foobar2000' and I feel that it is really good. I used the VLC player before then and I wonder, if anybody makes their own Equalizer presets? I know that the equalizer can completely change the music, but is it really necessary?
I've tried playing around with the Equalizer and I came up with my own preset : Preset
So, how does the Team Liquid community set their Equalizer? If you have the file please do share =D
Oh, something off topic - My previous ID was 'Azera' and you may remember me from the Girl Blogs that I have wrote. Well, a quick update on that... I have not seen the girl since and so... I don't know...

Full bass and Trebble! all the way! well at least for me listening to more metal-ish type music, where the guitar and drums are more edited, and really really clear. mine looks like this, not perfect, but my headphones sound beautiful with this setting, and you can tweak it to your delight.

changing the EQ presets changes the music. If the artist wanted his track to have more bass he would probably have added it. I leave all my EQ's flat.

I sort of side with Starparty for this. However, no matter what you're never going to get exactly what the artist wanted, either because you don't have the same settup as the artist, or really because you don't have the same settup as the person who mastered the music.
Not so much for the sake of the artist, but just because your ears will adjust after 2 minutes to whatever new sounds and it won't sound better anymore, it'll just be louder. So especially on an mp3 player, I just keep it flat to save battery power.

I keep my EQ flat and let my headphones handle it.
