Are you going to trim off the white or leave it on there? If you were planning on trimming them you could have edited the margins to have more of the picture shown (although there will always be a border around the page sadly)

I'm probably going to end up trimming the edges of the page. I'm not sure if I could have edited the margins since the rasterbator program converted the image into a several-page PDF file.

I pretty much downloaded and used the program that popped up first when I Googled "rasterbator" lol.

One of my life dreams is to set up a system capable of taking a replay and projecting the entire map onto a wall. I guess you would successively record the entire game with the screen centered on one part of the map such that you had the whole map, get a lot of projectors and a big wall, and then play them all at the same time? Probably it will never happen but oh my god it would be awesome!

What you are doing is similar to that : 3

Match Point turns me on so hard

. Rasterbating definitely takes a long time and you really have to cut precisely and print on good paper with good ink.

Results can turn out awesomely though, so like others before me, I urge you to post pictures!!

Next time you do it, if you convert them to .pdf you should look up the program cute pdf. It allows you to manipulate pdfs without having to have the original file. Its nifty and might help you with some edits later down the road. If you could do most of the edits before making them a pdf you will probably have more options in editing depending on the program you had made them in.

You have actually given me a great idea. For one of my computer science classes I wrote a program that more or less generated a mosaic of a base image (in this case a BW map), by using shitloads (about a thousand as I recall) of filler images (could use BW images for that too). I had hoped that that program would come in handy some day. Only problem is it takes freaking forever to run to get a decent quality image. Perhaps during winter break I will "rasterbate" fighting spirit.
