In all seriousness if a girl is bringing somebody else with her then she either a) didn't realise it was meant to be a date, b) didn't want it to be a date, or c) is a douchebag. a) is the more likely option with the possibility of a little b) mixed in. Just ask the girl "when do you want to go on a date with me?" Girls don't know shit about dudes just like dudes don't know shit about girls so they appreciate straightforwardedness (is that a word, I don't think it is?). In my experience a girl who doesn't outright say "No, piss off" (or words to that effect) when you ask her out can be seducted (I know that word's not real, but love it nevertheless). Maybe = I need to be convinced/reassured/etc before I say yes. | ||

Bringing a friend to a date is an immediate sign she wants backup, which means she is in some way uncomfortable with you. It also means she doesn't want it to be a date. It also might mean that Sherman is a cock-blocking douchebag asshole who wants to get in her pants (and worse, he's clingy). The only way you could have one-upped Sherman was to out-maneuver him both by being the alpha male in that situation (leading the conversation, making the decisions, asking the questions) and properly deflecting his awkward questions. It's especially tough to do if you're feeling intimidated. The main thing to remember is that because this girl's friend came along and she avoided you beforehand, she's obviously not into you and is not worth your time or effort. If she wants to hang around with douchebags then her poor decisions will garner poor results, like dating douchebags and not you. Conclusion: If you really feel like carrying the situation a little further, locate and knock out Sherman. Even if it doesn't help you with this girl it will most definitely make him look like a bitch. Remember to keep up the aggression if he wants to turn it into a full fight - you wouldn't half-commit to a 4gate, would you? Don't bother with the girl again. Just don't contact her at all. If she wants anything to do with you she'll contact you. If not forget about her. There are so many girls out there it's ridiculous. I'm not a pick-up artist, but when I go to a club and ask a girl to dance, if she accepts I'll dance and if not I just move right on. If I detect that she's not into it or is trying to get away from me, I bail. It's like losing a match in Starcraft - just click on the Find Match button and see how the next one goes; you can't change that last game. There are 10+ other girls there that I could dance with. So good luck in the future. Don't sweat the losses, but relish the wins. | ||
