I jumped out of my chair and fist-pumped hard when Jangbi actually won. I wasn't going to turn off the stream, but I was muttering to myself "it can't end this way... it can't end this way" and then when JangBi fought back the contain and started mining again, I had a little glimmer of hope that he could win, which got bigger and bigger as the game progressed until JangBi finally took the supply lead, at which point I was sure he could ride his advantage to victory. (only a little scared of those cloaked wraiths) I forget when I started to tear up but it was sometime before JangBi took the supply lead, when I was thinking "oh my god, he's actually going to pull this off" manly tears

But I have to admit. When Jangbi showed his mental fortitude in that game 5, his refusal to accept defeat, his fighting spirit, I found myself wanting Jangbi to make a comeback and win. I respect perseverance and fighitng spirit in competition. And I was glad Jangbi was rewarded for it.

Damn good motto. I might have to start following that to be a muta ^^ On September 17 2011 23:33 frequency wrote: I want someone to upload the video they played at the end showing a load of the winners from years past. It didn't understand a word of it but it really made me smile seeing the emotion from the players. Yea that was epic. The ending montages are always one of my favorite parts of the OSL

I don't know Jangbi's story, but I could not stop shaking of excitement. This might have converted me to BW. The sad thing is that any SC2 player that ignore BW just always miss these things. It's cool to see that you have been able to enjoy it that much. BW is a fantastic game and this final is another proof.

One of the best (OSL) finals for me. So happy that Jangbi was able to win. <3

But Game 5 was too damn much. When JB almost lost my head was in my hands and eyes were watering (although that may be from watching too much awesome), but when he somehow, magically, out of nowhere, unexpectedly, against all odds, fighting his uphill battle, struggling against the torrential current (OK, I'll stop with the cliches), came back and took the lead I have to admit a tear (or two, but all manly) rolled into the deep, dark crevasses of my keyboard. And people are talking about a winner's montage which the damn Chinese restream cut out. Anyone got a video link that'd work behind the Great Firewall?

My heart was racing all through the comeback. There were many fist pumps to be had. ![]()

I was rooting like hell both for beloved Auir and for JangBi himself. So glad to have seen him not give up even when he went through that mind-boggling 25% win rate span of games. Then to come back and win an OSL, awesome! God I love BW!
