EPTI have been playing the game on and off over the past month, and I've been following starcraft over the past year. I have completed the single player campaign on Normal (I might redo it on brutal) and I have completed 5 online games with one win (Four 1v1's and one monobattle, I posted a thread about my first multiplayer win awhile ago)
I decided to skip practice league and to jump straight into the online world that is starcraft II.
However over the past few weeks I have found myself watching Starcraft rather than playing. I've watched most of Day 9's Funday monday and newbie tuesday. I have also been watching the live streams of the players on this site and MLG. Im really nervous about the online play, even though it is alot of fun (even with the 5 games I played). I would like to make some friends so I can get the most out of this game and improve my play. I also want to experience the social aspect of online play, Hence why I started this thread.
I play exclusivly terran because I think they're aswome (I have played toss in the SP campaign and zerg in the challenges, but I just prefer terran). My favourite players are TLO, Jinro, Salyer's dragon MMA and of course our MLG cham Bomber. I really like the 1/1/1 build with heavy macro and constant drops. However I would like to experiment with other builds, such as mass air with four starports, or mass ghosts.
So my question is should I play team games first and do whatever I want, just to have fun,? I would like to pogress on the ladder though.
