If you don't wrap well enough, the "explosion" comes way too soon, letting all the sauces and juices out making the insides far too dry. Next time I will have to use less sausage, wrap tighter, plus I was thinking instead of slow grilling it I might hot grill to sear the outside, then slow bake it instead...might stay together much better.
