Just hang in there, once school starts in a couple of weeks, you can make new friends and hopefully everything will work out

Well I'm not in the exact same boat as you but when I moved cities I moved into year 7, and it was very hard to socialise with people. Just consider making a new start, join various clubs (e.g. sports or social youth groups or something) and make new friends like everyone else said. Your other friends are obviously jerks or have serious peer pressure problems.

Man, this exact same fucking thing happened to me years and years ago when I was in 8th grade, and it fucking massacred my psyche for pretty much the rest of middle and high school. I had this clique of friends that were pretty tight knit with eachother, always 'having eachothers' backs' and shooting the shit and being the asshole juvenile middle school boys that we were together.

7th grade was probably the highlight year of all my years in school prior to college. I remember being on the sickest emotional highs and enjoying, for once in my life, the fruits of having an active social life. Well, in 8th grade, for WHATEVER FUCKING REASON, these dudes decide to do the exact same shit that is happening to you. There is nothing more lethal than a group of supposedly trustworthy people giving you a mass cold shoulder. It scars you more than a mafia-style beatdown. They followed it up with direct insults, and I was known as 'loner boy' or 'that kid with no friends,' and I basically collapsed into myself and remained a relative outcast for the duration of my time in that high school (we moved in 10th grade).

I've become convinced over the years that kids will be kids, and kids are fucking assholes at your age. I know fully well what you are going through and completely sympathize. My advice to you is to get them out of your life, and know that you're in the midst of the social gauntlet that is middle/high school (I wonder if my perspective on middle and high school is a bit extreme?). There are still plenty of other caring people out there who are worth your time and effort, even if they aren't on the surface the coolest cats on the block. Make new friends, move on with life, live long and prosper. Shit, at the rate ESPORTS is growing and being more or less 'accepted,' you'll be able to meet people solely online that live around you and recreate an entirely new badass posse of people that all legitimately share the same passion.
