So I think I am going to change things up with my username. Currently my username is JMC. Plain and simple but I still have the username change from season 1 ( I think that's when it was put out)
Now while brainstorming for a name the only name that I could think of that I actually liked was one given to me a couple years back in track and that was Flash. Now I'm one that feels you shouldn't knowingly take a persons username because they thought it up, therefore it kind of makes it theirs, and since Flash is a pro BW player I feel like I would be copying off of him.
So since I liked Flash as a name I thought maybe I could just add to it and perhaps just make is FlashBang. I thought that was pretty decent and I like the sound of it. But since I only have 1 username change I thought I would ask for a second opinion as well as suggestions.
Does FlashBang sound good, or should I just stick with my original username? Also any suggestions for names would be appreciated as well.
Edit: I play Protoss by the way.

FlashBang could work and is probably not used by many people, but it does seem like more of a FPS name than an RTS name.

Wind, Storm, Ocean, Cool, Die, Live, Core, Rush, Star, Force, October, Fun, Boring, Funny, Random, Heaven, Teal, Mist, Love, Shadow.
If you want to make up your own, the easiest way to do it is to apply the fOu test. Pick random words that sound good with *fOu suffix. Twilight[fOu]? Pff, obviously doesn't work at all. Rush[fOu]? Perfect! Only use fOu for testing purposes, don't actually append the tag doh.
Random female names always work.
Random unit names that aren't already taken are good too.
If you're a Zerg user, any combination of characters that includes "zerg" string works. AngryZerg? Zerglord? Zergs? ggzerg? All good to go.
And remember, most awesome ids are always a product of a total lack of good ideas.

remember, you have to look convincing so that your opponent will fear of playing you. so, pick a random noun. the more stupid you look, the more skilled you we be percieved of having.

Well, KT (the team that Flash is on) was going to call themselves FingerBoom for a while, that's hilarious, though maybe because I misread and thought they were naming themselves FingerBang.
If you wanna go dirty, you could take an idea from the Colbert Report and choose MunchmaQuchi or SuqMadiq. Or something completely stupid like Buttmunch. Not sure how long those would last though.
Sad thing about SC2 is you can't use numbers or symbols, so you can't do something classic like Fagtron5000.
In case you didn't get it, I'd go with something funny if I were you. Otherwise, an earlier response suggested a random female name. First ones that come to mind:
Sharon
Wendy
Gertrude
Bertha
BigBertha
...

Okay just got another idea.
1. Take a famous name (e.g. Nostradamus or NicolasCage)
2. Find a word that rhymes with part of the famous name and switch it in (Ghostradamus, NicolasRage)
It would probably be best if you chose a famous name you like and a word that's funny or that means something to you, or a unit or spell in the game.
Just throwing out ideas here.
