Hi TL,

for my fifth hundred post I wanted to give you guys a little something, a blast from the past.
The Jump-n-Run "Prince of Persia"

I myself grew up with that game being played on a IBM 268 PC it took me almost one year at he time, I was only 10 and I just recently rediscovered this gem of computer history.

It is available for download, and can be played easily with a dos box emulator, just drag the .exe onto the emulator .exe and the game will start.

You got 60 minutes to climb and fight your way out of a dungeon to save your lovely princes from the evil Jaffar. Enjoy.

Please note that the provided links are taken from the game developers site, and that the game is considered abandon-ware. Both links and downloads are free from malware and viruses.

I loved this game on DOS.. it is dissapointed how bad the series has become after the epicness of that game. I remember it being so hard back when I was like 12.

I wish they'd make a new game, completely in that 2d DOS style, but like 15 times longer. that'd be epic.

Prince of Persia is an incredible game, but it was too hard for the little 5-year old me...

Great game, but just way too fucking hard. I still can't make it past the first level even now.

I love this game, it really is a timeless classic to me. I still remember struggling through the early levels as a child.
