I can't fall asleep...it's 2:21 AM EST....
I have to be up in a few hours (ok like 7.5 but still) and I really want to sleep.
I hate nights like these where I lay up thinking about whatever then end up watching Destiny own kidson his stream.
An all nighter isn't an option because I have no option for a nap tomorrow with the day I have planned. If I didn't have to get up it wouldn't be a problem, but I have to so I don't know what I'm going to do.
I don't function well when not tired.
I know I'm whinning (wining??) QQ
I don't really care as because its my blog and I can cry if I want too (hehe)
well...back to destiny I go

Start > Shutdown. Lights out. Think about sex for 30 minutes. Congrats, you're asleep.

whining* lol
I sometimes have this problem, and I kind of just force myself to go to sleep. My theory is if I can't leave my bed, then I will eventually have nothing better to do than just sleep. Also, don't think about the going to sleep part, but rather other things. That way, you forget you are trying to force yourself to sleep. Works for me at least.

Atleast you don't make blogs that get no comments<--- myself.
If you cant sleep, then you dont need sleep. Thats my opinion

Don't use sc2 streams as a backup option for when you can't fall asleep. If you have a backup option for not being able to fall asleep, you will not fall asleep very easily.

Yeah this is true ; / It's hard to fall asleep knowing that Destiny is just a few clicks away.

That's just to long...I just get bored : /

Play nature sounds - the sound of water usually makes me fall asleep right away. Also warm milk helps. But DON'T try to make hot chocolate with it. I did that once...did not sleep the whole night. Just regular warm milk.

rainymood.com bro, it works wonders for me. put that on and maybe read a book or if you like reading blogs or what not make sure to turn your screen lcd low

Hit yourself in the head with a golf club/crowbar or something like that. Might leave a nasty bump though.

Turn off all lights in your room and try to achieve a pitch black room. Make your room relatively cool. Try reading a book, it helps me get sleepy.

This man speaks the truth

I have this problem all the time. Have had it since I started going to university. I usually just tough it out while watching some streams or reading or something until I'm ready to pass out. And then.... I pass out.

You can't sleep because you're addicted to the internet, you need to remove yourself from the computer hours before deciding to sleep.
|
I have the same problem, but its like every night. And that internet addiction thing makes sence, but i dont care so imma still use teh internet before bed.
|
Ive had it similar for some time by now, and its not helping that i can see my monitor from my bed - i have found tho, that switching the pc off turning off the lights and closing my eyes really is the best way. I fall asleep eventually, IF i dont open my eyes
I know the sound obvious, but i remember loads of times when i think "i cant fall asleep - goddammit" then open eyes turn around, look around in the dark. Keeping my eyes closed has helped me, i hope i can help you..
