Here's the weather at my place right now :
+ Show Spoiler +
[image loading]

P.S : We're not lucky enough for thunderstorms. It's just painfully hot and humid, no clouds in sight.

Now, to some people that might seem like any other day. I live in Canada; I like anything from -5C to 20C because that's a pretty comfortable temperature range where you don't need to bother much to adjust to the temperature.

I can handle -40C because I can easily turn up my heating and wear more clothes. Nothing to it. Snow, of course, can be a fucking pain when it starts to stack up; but at least it doesn't happen every year and we get some calm years once in a while.

On the other hand, 46C is the worst temperature in the world (or, you know, anything above it).

I live in the 3rd floor of my apartment complex with no air conditioning. The air is heavy and hard to breathe even with my windows open. Even during a normal summer day with 25C it's pretty hot and humid. Right now, I'm sweating uncontrollably while drinking water pretty much non-stop. Even the ice-blocks I put in my glass melt in a few minutes, it's ridiculous.

I spent the last hour just laying down on my couch next to the window (thank god there's a bit of wind at least), but without any movement I still continue to sweat non-stop. Typing this? You guessed it : like a mother fucker.

I have no idea how I'm supposed to deal with this. I have no money so buying an air conditioner is absolutely out of the question. I would do anything to have 25C weather right about now.

I can safely say, it's too hot to do anything except lay around. I'm pretty sure I'd pass out if I tried to jerk off. I feel for those guys doing construction work in the apartment over mine.

I truly hate the weather. I'd move to Antarctica if there was a civilization there. At least you know what to expect on a daily basis : cold.

I totally agree with you here. I hate when it changes temperature constantly. You live in Quebec too right? (Météo-Média?)

We're having a TERRIBLE heat wave in East coast US.

Tomorrow's high is 102F, and that's without the heat index (which adds in humidity and so on...usually about 10F+ around here)

right now it's 97F but it is actually rated at 107F with heat index.

It's SOOOO hot T_T

Ok I'm in Quebec. As far as I know, I think it's worst near MTL than here in Quebec (hotter). Man that must suck.

I know people living in the East hate Vancouver people talking about how warm it is in the Winter...so I just won't mention our weather right now. But when I lived in London Ontario I had the same problems a couple years ago, it was so goddamn humid. One good solution is to run all the errands you need to run that require you to go to places with air conditioning. Grocery shopping, trips to home hardware, etc are all solid.

Or, you may be able to pick up a big bag of ice for like, 4 bucks. Or go swimming (wear sun screen).

The heat bubble has to leave eventually...right? (Currently there is a massive high-pressure system sitting over Eastern/Central Canada and the US right now, that isn't moving. Its just saying there...so you better plan for it to stay hot for a while)

You know when you stay in the shower too long you get wrinkles on your fingers? I have those right now. Hint : It's not because I took a long shower.

I hope it leaves soon. I'm moving on the 29th and I have a 12 hour drive in a huge truck ahead of me. I just may die if it's still this hot.

It's a first for me as well. I know I'm not dehydrated because I drank so much water today but it's pretty crazy.

36-38C all week here in New York.

D:

35 isn't THAT terrible though, 38-40 (100F+) is really awful.

36 here in Vermont. Feels like 44 apparently. Ick.

Kinda miss the intense rain we had a few days ago, it at least kept the heat down.

That's horrible. We have it better in Norway, it's rarely below -20C or above 30C.
On the other hand, it often alternates between mass rain and clear sky rather rapidly

In Hungry Hungry Hippos there are no such constraints—one can constantly attempt to collect marbles with one’s hippo, limited only by one’s hippo-levering capabilities.

You shut your mouth It was the most humid in the fucking world where I live 2 days ago. guess where I live? Minnisota the place we snow and it gets really really cold. How cold? It was 156 degrees hotter then the record low for our state. And It was 105 around here. Even the nighttime was a solid 89 with rainstorm humidity where your windows fog up like crazy when you try to put the air condioner on in your car. Thats crazy and unsafe I didn't live here for the heat I live here to be away from all the crappy weather and live with the cold and snow.

Crazy ass Celcius What is this Ferigner land? This be Americer fool.(spits)

One last thing you give you perspective. I got trench foot from going to a music festival last week. fucking trench foot.

User was warned for this post

I'm really sorry I didn't mean to have the f word right there I was thinking about down the road f word and I guess it snuck in there.
