The title says it all. ive been getting bored of SC lately and I really want to get back into an MMO style game. Ive played WoW, Rift, Aion. Lineage and such. I'm looking for something new and fresh that is easy to get in to and wont cost me an organ. Any advice is appreciated, Thanks.

Lots of people have started play Eden of Eternia (I think that's what it's called). Never played it myself, no idea what it's like.

There's a thread on TL for it under Sports & Games.

Rift is available now, in case you want to try.
If you are a masochist, there is FFXIV you can play right now.

Or, wait for TERA, GW2, and/or B&S.

APB: Reloaded is really, really fun with a small group of buddies. Just continuous PvP in a city of absolute chaos.

It's different in that it's a third-person-shooter MMO (very few of those) and no PvE grinding at all in order to just jump straight in.

Eden Eternal . Its free leveling isn't horrible. Its actually fun to play. Plus it doesn't get boring because you can switch classes. Game just came out so it might be missing stuff. I heard Vindictus is good but I'm unsure. Doesn't look that good to me x.x

I tried out Rift a month ago or so, but it really did feel like starting over in WoW. There were some new features and all but just not enough people on the server. I tried a few different servers and just never really found crowds or groups. I don't think the game's popular enough yet.

It looked like it had potential though, so I really hope it gets bigger.

I've played Rift. It's stable for now, it's exactly like WoW but with pretty graphics. I haven't reached the end-game yet so I can't comment on that but playing alone won't keep you in the game for long.

Eden Eternal is a cute game. I played for like 10 minutes and quit. Starts out like the typical MMORPG, I'm sure they've spiced it up with a good dungeon system and whatnot, but nothing too impressive. But then again I've only given it 10 minutes. I don't see a reason to give it more time than SC2.

I'm going to really, really cautiously suggest MapleStory. Easy to get in, leveling curve made MUCH easier through recent updates... but it may cost you an organ or two to play it at the end-game (like spending on cash items). There's a couple of TLers playing it (including myself), check thread in the Sports & Games section for more information.
