Every week has seen its own improvements and this week was no different. Like before, my style changed drastically by the end of the week. It seems that with every new blog what I thought I knew about StarCraft II changes. I don’t necessarily mean to say that I know more about the game itself. My understanding is more internal. This week was no different. I've grown from knowing what I needed to improve upon to become a master's player into someone who looks a week ahead and wonders what will happen this week. How will I improve? What realizations will I come to? And to be honest, I find it motivating. I can’t complain about the change as it’s all been positive.
Occasionally I think back to my conversation with LzGamer at MLG. He said in order to get top 200 it doesn’t take much practice, and I’m sort of seeing that now. Or perhaps much is a relative word. Regardless, my original goal was to play two hours a day, which I sometimes don’t even do. Despite that, I’ve been getting better steadily. A few more tweaks, a few more weeks, and I see myself in Masters. Season 3 will be good for me. I’ll have the opportunity to start fresh and accumulate my points on pace with everyone else. I believe it will be a good chance to figure out where I am right now. It's odd that something seemingly only meant for aesthetical purposes will have such a drastic impact on my morale.
And with that, here we are again. I have little else to say this week. I was considering abandoning this blog, but with a friend's insistence continued on. Perhaps this blog someday will fulfill its original goal of helping aspiring Progamers. If not, then I know this blog at the very least has allowed me to focus my thoughts and share myself with community. And that is something I don't regret. Anyways, hopefully next week I’ll be writing this blog, recounting yet another transformation my play has gone through.
