Also if you can't go after all you're probably pretty happy if you can get your 70$ back.

You could give the ticket away with a shirt couldn't you
Isn't this how people get around scalping laws with Superbowl tickets and shit like that?

Thanks for the link, signed up 4 hours ago and I'm 12th on the waiting list. Anyone have any idea if I can expect to get one, based on previous MLG waiting lists? I've no clue if it's only a couple people who get lucky, 30, or whatever
what's sad is I looked for a MLG waiting list for SC2 a couple hours after the Waiting List thread went up, but couldn't find it as it was in its own "MLG waiting list forum," posted in a request for waiting list thread instead and now im 12th instead of 1st had I found that subforum. I'm pretty bad at the internet still

Or at least apportion the amount of passes that go to the lower leagues, and set a higher distribution for higher leagues, make it more fair for people who are actually competing.
EDIT: OK maybe i sounded like more of an asshole than i intended to >.>
that goes against the entire principle of MLG though. The idea that in professional sports you can't play against the best in the game, but at MLG you can buy a pass and take your shot against some of the best players in NA/the world in your respective game. Players like joe platinum and john bronze are people that MLG want interested in attending and watching MLG (obviously the high end competitors are important, I am not saying they are not valued, just saying that the average joe is important for a company like MLG to reach out to.) Making a percentage of passes for Masters+ would be a good idea though. But in all honestly, I feel like a lot of the passes that are sold are to Masters+ players already and its just a result of a pro player (i Think Zelniq is pro?) not buying it in time which sucks if he doesn't get to go, but it is ultimately his fault as he could have bought one and sold it if his plans fell through.

I need one too

good luck on getting in ;o

I need one too, went to MLG Columbus got top 60, havent everything booked for Anaheim and I am coming all the way from the East coast... I had to wait until I got my paycheck to buy my pass and the day I get it is the day they sell out.. T.T!

Out of curiosity, did any of you guys find passes yet?
|
I need three of them D:
The MLG site needs a lot of work. I'd make a whole layout system for them if they gave me three passes~
