When is it time to realize who we are? My passion for art started to grow as I started to realize that I don't see the world the same as other people. So what do I do with my art? I try to show people what I see, what feelings I feel, what world I live in. This painting that you see in front of you was made between me and my most recent girlfriend. It looks like crap to you, but to us, it shows the real meaning of us. It's explosive, it's unknown, it's different. It looks abstract, you can say that, but it isn't.

My girlfriend and I made this while we were drunk. We were just hanging out and decided to just throw some paint around and just have fun. It shows our explosive side, it shows our feelings towards each other, it shows us. For those who have a girlfriend and have "no" talent in the art field, I suggest you try this with them. You will have a great time, it will revive your relationship, it will show the spark between both of you. Don't be scared to throw paint and get it everywhere, if you are, then you're scared of the relationship. Be free for once and express yourself, express your feelings with your significant other in a different form.

This is Us, we are who we are and no one can change that; Show it, live it, embrace it.

If you want to be able to clean easily, I suggest buying acrylic paint

I have a lot of plans that will be coming up with this kind of work. My most recent paintings have been involving a lot of people and the motion of the body. I will start posting more of my work soon. This was just something I made between me and my girlfriend as I stated earlier and wanted to show people how two people work together can make something meaningful.

I hope you enjoyed the painting as much as I did making it.

It actually looks really good. To me it looks a little bit more like conflict rather than harmony.

Much better to throw paint at a canvas than someone's property.

Hm it's like a team-version of a Jackson Pollock. Not my cup of tea but I'm no art enthusiast.

Conflict is always good, so I'm glad you said this. Conflict always leads to harmony while harmony can lead to conflict. This is the first time I ever did something like this and I'm glad it came out the way it did Thanks for the appreciation though!

I've been cutting back on illegal graffiti and have been getting into legal murals lately since I don't have the time to do illegal graffiti. I love Jackson Pollock, his art shows a lot of depth if you really take a look at his stuff. His style of art is layer after layer after layer.

I don't get this argument, conflict is good because it always leads to harmony.. Then harmony can lead to conflict. But conflict was good, right, so that should be good as well? I don't see how conflict always leads to harmony, my life experience do not agree with this. Maybe its an art thing? I don't know much about art!

Nice painting btw

Harmony leads to praise which leads to art which leads to blogs which leads to discussion which leads to criticism which leads to flaming which leads to banning which leads to conflict which leads to harmony. The circle of TL!

No need to get so mad man. There is graffiti, and then there is stupid spray paint that just makes everything look horrible. The art stuff is really not that bad, it is the other stuff that i really hate.

it really doesn't matter what it looks like, it's not their place to spray what they percieve as art onto someone else's property. how you can justify this is beyond me

Two adolescents slapping some blue and red on a painting showing their oh so diverse emotions.
Then they crown their picture with a generic and primitive slogan.
That kind of slogan that gets crapped out by some idiot in an advertising agency daily.
Thinking you're so individual.

Good portrait of our generation. I like it.

Well then, should keep him working on his art some more. You might have a Picasso in your hands.

I'm not saying this is something to go off and show to world as a portrait of life or anything; I'm just saying it's something to do with your significant other in a way to express yourself with them. If you really read my post then you'll see what I'm saying, but of course, half of the people on forums now a days just skim and post garbage.

Yes but quite clearly you don't care for it, unless "can fuck off" means something different now.

Anyways the OP seems to take any of the negative comments/criticism quite well, and it's nice seeing how they show their view of it compared to those who dislike it.

I'm digging the way the words progressively get more and more roughed up by intersecting lines going top to bottom.

This is good stuff, it seems very honest to me.

Criticism is always good in the art world, but what they're doing is just taking what I have done and saying it's shit because to them they don't see "art", but I'm not one to change their attitude towards what I have done. This is just something I did with my girlfriend to have fun and just wanted to show people so they can do it as well. Either way, I just learned not to care to much about what people say, especially in the internet.

This is what I thought. At first I thought the artwork was expressing your thought that people led hectic and busy lives, or on war or something of the sort. Still, good job I guess :p.

I do laugh at people getting all upset over what others consider art...

I mean way to take yourself just a tad too seriously. It is almost like people have to protect what they feel is good art otherwise the whole scene will collapse.

Is it really that hard to not like something and accept that others will?

Oh great hipster critic, shower us with your worthy creations so we may bask in your awesome uniqueness.

See, I can be sarcastic too. High five?

Not all art is meant to be displayed and sold in galleries. 50 years down the road, they will pull this painting out of the attic and it will serve as a memento of the kind of relationship they had when they were young. This is a kind of feeling that no advertising agency can crap out, and no gallery bought art can display.
