I like especially that its so robust, heavy and has no gimmicks, just pure keyboard. Btw, do you know a good method to take off the caps for cleaning? i saw there was a tool for that made by filco but its sold out everywhere.

I was thinking about getting a Siberia headset but then opted to go for the better quality headphones and an-add on mic to get slightly better quality headphones which I won't be embarrassed to wear outside occasionally.

Vacuum? What? o.o. Do you get one of those like hand vacuums and run it over the top? Do you take the key caps off or leave them on

I've tried the 7g, but I hate that the click/register of a key happens before it is fully depressed, sounds weird to me when the sounds seem like they're ahead of my fingers. They use the same switches, it will be the same no matter which of the 2 keyboards you use.

Both are solid Keyboards i just decided to go with the steelseries because it looked a little more standard so my little brother wouldn't want to take it

I really want to get a mechanical keyboard as I got a razor lycosa a couple of months ago and im really not impressed with it. Im either going to get the keyboard that this thread was made about (steelseries 6gv2) or get one of the none flashy razer blackwidows. From what ive heard of it I would say that id rather use a blue switch keyboard rather than a black switch one, but I really wish in a big games shop in the UK they had a section to test what the respective keys feel like. I guess its just gonna be trial and error until I find a keyboard that works for me haha.
