Second, Ivy league schools choose students based on an exceptionally high standard in all areas. These include not only SAT scores but sporting achievements (which you have), volunteer work and such. Good luck!

All of us develop our very own procrastination habits. For example, I procrastinate tons by chatting with girls on Yahoo. They key thing is to recognize these nuances and learn how to deal with them in an orderly manner--not to stop them, but to control them. In your case, try forcing yourself to watch or play only a certain amount of hours a day. Do the same thing for your other activities--studying included. Even if you're in the middle of a game and your time runs out, tell your opponent that you have a curfew or something and leave the game on-spot--don't try to "finish this last one." There are no excuses. If you manage to do this, you'll start to notice that you're taking more and more control of your life and will keep a healthy, balanced routine.

When there's a disconnect between what you want to do and what you think you should do, your mind is broken, and you need to fix it. Just don't make the mistake of thinking that your threshold for resentment is the area you should be improving.
