what software are you using, PS? id suggest taking a lot smaller brush to start with, opacity and flow around 30-50% right now its a smudgy draft all done with the same brush weight that is definitely too large, not giving you a chance for including any detail. And even though youve already used a lowopacity/flow brush, you should go over the more important lines more to make em stand out more, like the hair, outlines, glasses, etc. good luck though, this aint easy :D | ||

Any suggestions for something to draw? smaller brush size doesnt necessarily mean that itll take longer to make the biggest challenge when making portraits or any kind of simplified sketches/drawings is to put emphasis on the important stuff, and knowing what details you can leave out. Even when i start out simple and fast, i have a tendency to keep on working on it, adding details, so it loses its focal point, with no emphasis anywhere, just a general compilation of all the details, losing the point of the art style i set out to do in the first place.
