http://forum.anjunabeats.com/forum/3-making-music/ They are generally very helpful there and will give you constructive criticism on all of your work. edit: The first definitely has a more eurodance vibe while the second is a little more trancey. I prefer the second one.

As they look now though, the "Or this?" is better. Yeah I put a little more work into the second one, so it's hard to compare I guess. "This" might go better with the overall song I think, but "or this" kinda sounds better. :S

Think splashy reverse cymbals everywhere and very little empty space. Use 4bar cutoff or attack raising intros instead of suddenness or silence. True but I figured I'd mix up dancey breakdown/buildup with a house beat. Bad idea? But there's definitely room for a lot more stuff in these little parts.

I'm not gonna say that's a bad thing, but the two sequences you had were too abrupt. Stuff in there needs to get smoothed out. I felt a loss of energy when elements were removed and was momentarily confused/surprised when elements were brought in. I would recommend giving it a day of rest so you forget what's happening and going in and smoothing the transitions with a fresh mind. I'm sure you know how impossible it is to make sure transitions aren't jarring when you already know each melody and have them drilled into your head from looping 64856x.

Yeah you're right, guess I'll let let it rest a little bit for now.
