my friends and i would always fight over the terran spots for obsing lol. also i liked the terran interface the best.

terran music was one of the reasons i chose terran in bw. that and spider mines.

Well in my opinion the zerg music is waaaaaaaaaaaay more boring than in sc:bw. I don't get one extra apm from that boring song.

Luckily you can put the mp3 soundtracks in the background even with shuffle and loop

My zerglings on the other hand won't actually start attacking but more tickling their opponent till they die.

BW music was pretty good for all the races. The Protoss music seemed to be a fancier extension of the Warcraft 2 style. Zerg music seemed to have similarities to Diablo music. Terran music was all around awesome.

I actually like the SC2 Terran music, especially compared to the SC2 Protoss and Zerg tracks. I get pumped whenever the solo fiddle starts rocking away or when the horns start playing those epic chords. The Protoss music sounds TOO ambient and puts me to sleep, and the Zerg music is somewhat similar. However, a few of the Zerg tracks are rather cool and devious.

Nevertheless, I think the original C&C games (up until RA2) had some of the best RTS music ever made, thanks to the almighty Frank Klepacki.

I actually like the SC2 track quite a lot (for Terran at least) but it's a much different style than the BW Terran music.

Can't you just download the mp3s and put them on shuffle?I don't remember the BW music to change depending on whats happening in the game(Which some games have, I am not even sure if SC2 has this).

Yeah I know, but I'd like it to just play the BW Terran soundtrack when I'm Terran in SC2, Zerg for Zerg, etc.

Oh this is too cool. I love all these old themes, the terran sounds so futuristic and fits so well with their image in the SC universe.

Having first heard the music for both games in the last few years, I have to say I think a lot of the reactions you guys have to the BW music is nostalgia. The SC2 music is much more complex, but if I had one criticism of it it would be that much of it is a bit too close in feel to the music in WoW (which works wonderfully for what it is.)
