To those who have been to a MLG for sc2...

I already got time off during the MLG in Anaheim I was thinking of going but first I have one question...

Do you know what players are playing where?... Like say incontrol and machine end up playing eachother (which seems to happen every MLG lol) is there someone/something telling you when/where they are playing? Or do you have to walk around and see where they are at?

Related question -- do you have to buy tickets in advance to get into the venue or is it open to spectators for free/pay at the door? I don't see anything about event tickets on the MLG website

I heard that at this MLG some people got it at the door.... wait tell closer to the event then they will be on sale online... to be safe I would just buy them online

free for spectators, if you wanna play you can order your ticket in advance online. as for players, you will 100% see them walking around, probably even in the front row of the audience watching with everyone else until their games are called. very easy to spot.

free I thought they had a "spectator pass" last i saw it was $25

They have a station setup also where they announce over a speaker "Machine and Incontrol to station 12" which you can just listen for and then go to that station to watch the match.

There is an information booth for each game that will tell you the current heats and stations that players are playing at. There's also an announcer announcing names. For both Dallas and Columbus they had the main stage (booths) with a projector and then an alternate stage where there were 4 computers (so you can watch 2 alternative champion pool play). Then in one corner of the rest of the computer area they have the rest of the pros (Stations A-C and like 1 and 2 or something). They usually have a big crowd so its pretty easy to find.

Spectators are 25$s you can buy at door. Player you have to buy in advance. They'll announce when they open up the ticket sales.
