Seeing as we already have a map of the month well established to recognize up and coming quality maps that may not otherwise receive the attention they deserve, why not have a stream of the month or week?

Rapidly, the streaming community is becoming saturated with content, to the point where it is hard to see all that is available (example: NASL and IPL concurrent streaming) and this makes it hard to see all the quality content out there. Although this can affect larger streams, it makes creating a new stream next to impossible to gain an audience, even with the help of listing your stream on TL, how many people will actually take the time to find your thread, scroll down the list, or simply stumble upon it. The reality is that people aren't willing to give new streams a chance and spend the time looking for a quality up and coming stream and help build the community to show the appreciation that the streamer deserves for their quality content.

Thus I believe a stream of the week thread would help to highlight lesser known streamers and allow people to discover new streams, provide feedback, and most of all give streamers the chance they deserve to deliver the quality content they work so hard to provide.

I envision a format as follows:

1) I will search justin.tv, livestream, ustream, teamliquid, reddit etc. to find quality streams and attempt to review them.

2) Users or streamers PM/Post here to highlight a stream that they enjoy.

3) When the week is over I will highlight a stream and dedicate a post to explaining what the stream is about, its benefits, content, etc. and hopefully we will be able to help the streaming community grow and encourage new quality content to be developed.
