Well, here's what happened during the Rutgers inhouse ladder last week. http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?topic_id=225734 Many defenders held their respective rankings successfully. But few matches did not go underway. Everyone had a match to play in the time span of a week, there's no excuse to be incapable of setting up a time frame to play a BO3 with a fellow student. Leave a skype message, send an email, or leave FB message or something. With two games not played, somewhat disappointed, especially with the ranking of those players. However, some matches were very close and kept competitions alive. Newcomers also got inserted into ladder, so rankings aren't dead yet. Remember that this system will not work if you guys don't play the matches. And please don't let me hear that someone's dodging, set up another time if unable to play at the moment and actually show up to the time.
RUrevoiD picked the starting map this week, and it will be MLG Metalopolis.A reminder that the matches will be best of three with loser's choice and no repeating maps. Matches due Sunday June 5th. Let me know if there's any problems.
With all said, I will start this week with a quote that I found very inspirational.

until the very very top, in almost anything, all that matters is how much work you put in, the only problem is most people cant work hard even at things they do enjoy, much less things they dont have a real passion for.
Also, will plug into my blog if there's anything Rutgers worthy! James beginning to cast some interesting replays and will update as soon as any VoDs are up for view. Good luck, have fun!

Our ladder set up:
+ Show Spoiler +
First, we begin by having a rough laddering using challog round robin system, BO1 all games, map on the new GSL map Bel'Shir's beach. After getting a rough ranking, we start hosting challenge matches per week. During odd week of the month, the odd ranked player challenges up a rank. The first map will be decided by a different player each time. During even week of the month, the even ranked player challenges up. This alternating week system gives rest to the number 1 ranked and the lastly ranked player two weeks of the month, if they retain their position.
