The zerg are in my school! Sarah Kerrigan has born children. One boy and one girl. Their names are Katie Kerrigan(turned 12 last wednesday) and Jake Kerrigan(age unknown). They both go to 3FFA's school and I recently saw Katie on the screen we have in the lunch room that shows birthdays of the week. 12 year old Katie is in 6th grade. Could Kerrigan be planning an invasion? Is there infested terran among my class mates? Is New Jersey about to become the center of a war? Have I been playing star craft too much for my own good? BW Players ONLY!!! Now some of my friends and I want to play some island maps but we don't know what are the most balanced maps to play. So please post below what island maps you consider to be the most balanced to play on along with any builds you have that I could use to surprise my friends . Thanks for reading!
Oh, hell no. I'm pretty sure I have a few lengthy posts about the most imbalanced island/semi-island maps somewhere. Anyway, most of those are absolutely terrible, lol.
That's all I could find and that was my rant about Protoss favored maps. :[
Some simple cookie-cutter openings:
- 2 Fact Goliath with +1 weapon upgrade dropship play - Reaver/Cosair opening - 2 Lair Den, speed/drop upgrade. Once your going air against toss it's important to get +2 armor right away. :/
Anyway, there is a really good reason why we don't see Island maps in the PL,OSL, MSL map pool anymore. Sometimes we'll see some semi-islands/neutral buildings, but it's very rare.

@Star Struck: I saw one discussion before on island maps where the top like 10 worst island maps were listed and everyone discussed it. However, I still need help finding a well-balanced island map. Any ideas for what to look for? Also, any ideas for what future island map makers should look for to make the map more balanced?(Goes hand in hand)

I just found this by looking more in depth into the link star struck gave me. What happened to the imbalanced bars?

Listen to kona, he has a pretty big experience in playing stupid fun maps if I'm not mistaken. I think desert fox was the last attempt at an island pro map, and it still ended up pretty imba. But hey, there was a pretty fun game on it : http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/korean/games/1667_Hwasin_vs_sAviOr/main, really wanted to try that map ZvT after watching it.
