EPTNoonetheless I happily remembered Reality vs Jaedong @ Monte Cristo. I was instantaneously clicking the small vod thread, seeing that it was allready uploaded despite the game was played so recently. I love that thread.
As I watched the game, replied to some irritating posts on TL, wondering where the new PR is I thought; people sure cheesed on ICCup, but it was never that bad.
That made me think of how much I enjoy macro games. Playing them. Watching them. I love nearly everything about the proces of strengthening your lategame as much as possible. Now you think, hey, that guy has a protoss icon (perhaps you didnt, but thats not the point, I play ZvT, ZvP, PvZ as my matchups ~ and HT's are cute).
So I hurried and loaded Starcraft: BW. I went into my own old replays thinking "I was pretty darn bad at that time". Watching myself improve some skipping over the 200ish replays I had.
Then I randomly felt like my allready dead boredom was coming to an end. I turned on my grooveshark playlist, aww yeah time to rock some newblets. Then I logged onto ICCup but ashamed as I was I was kicked from the game; I had no launcher.
Thinking myself as too lazy to download it for the time being, I logged onto USWest, playing vs some dude who couldnt macro for the life of him but irradiated 12 hydras in 4 seconds while the vessels were retreating.
Yup, I was aware that people still hacked there but I couldnt help doing a sadface because of my futile attempt to break his little-tank-vessel-wraith turtle over 2 mains on python. I had a flashback to FBH vs Savior and decided I didnt want to wait for the BC's so I alt-q-q'ed and downloaded the ICCup launcher.
Feeling all dandy I found a D+ zerg vs my P. I was expecting to get raped. Really hard. What he did was a ling allin of 2 bases into hydraling of 2 bases even after I deflected the first all in. After that I had a ninja grin on my face which was saddened as my DT's couldnt find any expos to harass. I decided that this was boring as I 1a2a3a'd into his nat casting some storms when I felt like it (I had more HT's than he had hydras at this point).
After that both disappointment and happiness I rememberd taht TL has a chat channel, I went in there and found someone willingly to TvZ me.
The feeling of barely hanging by the skin of my teeth undtil my defiler lurk ling combo came out was a blast and I just had to play more. Which I did.
The problem with that was, it was now 1 am and there was Pl next morning. So I went to sleep.
And here I am now, wanting to write a poorly written wall of text which somehow is supposed to get more people back into BW.
