Have you ever encountered a seemingly minor difficulty, so trivial that on a scale from 10 - A Tornado has made camp right above your apartment roof; to 1 - Your fly is open; it would score a perfect 0.1 .. spawned from ridiculously improbable circumstances that few people on this earth had to experience in identical fashion but everybody can relate to.. and wound up actually finding an efficient solution for the problem instead of ignoring it? Well.. Feel welcome to post it here using the following format:
Title (as epic as possible) -> Introduction (optional) -> Circumstance -> Problem -> Solution
The feisty liquid horizon
So I sprained and fractured my ankle recently + Show Spoiler +
how is irrelevant, the trivial problem that originated from my predicament was:
the inability to carry a cup of tea from the kitchen to the living room where my pc is, and where I like to drink my cup of tea. I mean usually I get around the house by either jumping on one foot, using a crutch or two crutches just fine but in this case I'd go to the kitchen, make some delicious peppermint tea (with actual leaves my parents picked from the garden, can't find good commercial products anywhere) just to realize that getting it to my comfy-zone without spilling half of it is similar to playing insane difficulty Osu beatmaps. I could put it on the ground and hop half a step - pick it up move it somewhat and hop again but that was messing with my pride. The obvious solution to the problem would be a thermos which I didn't have or simply pouring the tea in a big pot with cover for easier transportation, but that would imply walking the distance 2 times because I can't carry the pot and my cup with only one hand.. come to think of it I could; but it's too late now and who wants an ugly ol' pot in the room. Anyway, the solution I came to live with was:

making Earl Grey black tea using the teabag technique instead and carrying the cup while the teabag is still inside. WTF you might ask yourself, well upon closer inspection of the physics involved here I came to understand that a soaked teabag will float on the horizon of the liquid, absorbing or rather damping the ripples which would otherwise add up and amount to a micro-scale tsunami causing a spill.
