So if there is one thing I suck at, it is setting goals. It’s plagued me for much of my life. I sit around, say “I want to do better/good” and then work at it. And when I was in third grade it worked, but lately just sitting around and thinking about arbitrarily improving without concrete goals was obviously not going to work. But how I finally realized I needed to set goals, and started doing so started because I realized that I was fairly (incredibly) weak, and that it could be contributing to my spine troubles. So after talking to my doctor about doing some sort of exercise routine, and that I didn’t have many limitations, I went to a PT. This PT wins the award for “most underestimating PT ever” She gave me a routine which didn’t really do shit. People look at me and figure that I’ve never done anything athletic in my life, although at least according to all the stress tests I’ve done I’m well within the normal range for cardiovascular fitness, and my Anabolic something or the other is really high (tolerance for lots of lactic acid) But anyways. Lady gives me useless workout, I do it, it doesn’t do anything. So I turned to the eminent Tl fitness thread featuring eschlow Admittedly at first I was clueless. I read the OP, get just about nothing out of it, download some “Starting Strength” book (more on this later) and am just like. “Buff guys lifting weights, how the hell does this affect me?” Anyways, I make a post, and the general consensus was that I should do this *gasp* Starting Strength program. So in one night I flew through the 300 page book, fairly intrigued, and then went to dig out my dad’s barbells (well, I guess fitness bars because they are short, and only 1”) and his exercise bench. And try to find a Squat rack >.>
After interrogating them more >< I was told “just do it” Which I did. Sure, the amount of weight I could lift is pretty damn laughable, and it turns out I’m just damn light. So then GOMAD (gallon o milk a day) comes into play. So right now I’m doing the plan. Yesterday was my workout day, and it was quite amazing, although I need to find a squat rack for long term usage now. Probably need to join a gym, or just try to squeeze it in after school. And gyms aren’t cheap >.>
But in terms of exercise I’ve started on this. It felt good after finishing the first one (all my lifts were really low, but I have a lot of room to improve) So I set some hard goals by the time I have surgery, which is probably late June.
But then I started thinking, and so I set some other goals. Hard goals. Boring goals about schoolwork. But I feel much more motivated with a hard goal and timescale, so I’m setting it for my life. Excited for more weights tomorrow. (SS routine pt 2)
Lastly, I have a new desktop wallpaper ^^. But a big question I have has to do with rainmeter. I don’t entirely know what I want, but I can hardly get it to work. Right now this is my setup. Any ideas that you guys have for making it more functional?
Lastly as a rant: Parents made internet turn off at 11:00 now :/ Makes me mad more that they’re being so persistently stupid with it, more than the fact that I can’t be on the internet at 11. Good news: I need sleep to be healthy (haha took a thread to teach me that one) so I’ll try to get more sleep

Do I understand correctly, that you're drinking one gallon of milk per day? I highly recommend that you read into body building nutrition, because it's the most important and hardest part of body building.

......Why don't you just buy your own cow and drink directly from that, ol buddy?

You need to eat allot of protein.... It's protein that rebuild musclemass. Carbs, like milk only gives the body fuel to work, it doesn't actually help you build muscle.
