As life had busied up in the last few years, I've had little(read no) opportunity to play on iccup for quite a long time.
+ Show Spoiler +At least thats the excuse I'm going with, the demoralising walloping that GTR may or may not have given me in the last state of origin has NOTHING to do with my lack of iccup presence in the recent past, and probable near future
But inspired by: Here lie spoilers: + Show Spoiler +SKT's demolition of KT in the winners league finals, and Bisu's glorious win over Flash
I decided to drag my ass on iccup for a few games.
But knowing how rusty I must be, and having my only crowning achievement on iccup be 'Once reached d+' I knew that it was probably in for a fairly frustrating experience.
One of the first few games I got was a pvt on python, pvt being historically my best matchup, I didn't really want to find out just how far I had fallen, naturally, I brought back a hilarious old build of mine that always brought a smile to my face, even when it failed catastrophically. Luckily things went my way and I now have a shiny replay to make this blog slightly less shitty.
So in the spirit of aggressive pvt and zealot harass I bring you, with all it's rusty glory:
enjoy!
It still warms me to imagine his expression at roughly 7:00.
PS SKT FUCK YEAH!

It's amazing when I see people who haven't played BW for years make a comeback. Hope you stay a while now though!

Haha who doesn't have PvT as their best matchup? It's so much easier for one side at low level it's ridiculous. I'm probably not even D+ and can keep up with players much better than me, and use little to no hotkeys. Still fun trying TvP as well though. Least you got 2fac.

Wow, I've actually never seen this build before. Can't believe it worked out that well - if you hadn't lost like 5 zealots to a single mine the game could've ended so much faster. I'm gonna try it out for fun some time

Yeah i actually got the idea from comp p lol.
I noted that if you seige expand vs comp p that 12 zealot rush is really really hard to hold without a wall, and that the comp did random crap like build a shield battery and early forge, which if you cut out of the build made it much more efficient, and wondered if i could shoehorn in zealot speed.
The execution that game was actually not very good, normally you should be able to hit that attack 10-20 seconds earlier with 12 zealots, but my mechanics arn't what they used to be (not that they were that good before either).
I think ideally you cut a probe at some stage, and take probes off gas earlier, then put them back on when your fully saturated, but most of the timing difference comes from when you can get rid of the scv in your base. I never really bothered to optimise it that much cos it is more of a mindfuck build than being particularly playable as standard.
I've tried faster variations like 1 zealot before goon, and intentionally showing them the citadel to imply a dt rush, which lets you lay down the citadel even when the scv is still in your base. But if they try to defend dts with fast mines your kinda screwed.
The mines were because i couldn't quite decide between splitting zealots to minimise damage or to just kill the mine with zealots, the indecision + a little latency meant I ended up doing neither and clumping zealots around the mine ><

lol this has inspired me to make an account named computer... that never talks when it joins games. It just does the comp builds exactly and doesnt micro. I feel like that would warm people's days
