I found this video http://h20464.www2.hp.com/media/070C5875-E817-40E2-9063-6B964F37C94F/pia_15_FRU_video_keyboard.htm is it enough if I remove the keyboard and then use a vacuum cleaner for the fan or do I need to remove the fan itself? what is undervolting and why everyone isn't doing it? Just wondering, never heard about it. I have Core2Duo T5870 2 GHz if that's what you're asking about. http://www.overclock.net/laptops-notebook-computers/308654-undervolt-laptop-guide-intel-c2d-t7500.html Here you go thats a prettty indepth guide. It is definately worth it, i do it on every laptop i use (3 so far) and have never ran into problems, and got massive temp saves every time. i suppose it would also increase your battery life (tho i would imagine that part is negligable ;P)

you probably dont need to do the undervolting then, but personally i would recommend it since the results of doing so are really good and the guide is also pretty step by step. hf!

Cleaning the vents would probably help though. I did that on my old desktop and it made it work like new. Those things collect dust very rapidly.
