She is now addicted to Starjeweled. I somehow knew this was going to happen, but now I have a real life person to play with now so that's cool. We did play some 2v2's together and it was fun sharing the experience of getting steam rolled together. If anything, it's made us closer knowing that we both suck at the game.
So I guess season 2 started today. I'm not sure what it really means for me but I played my placement match and won. Turns out I'm still in silver. I'm not surprised at all but I am kind of disappointed that I have not made gold yet. It seems like I've been in the silver league for a long time now. I was hoping I got a little better. But I guess I just need to practice and I'll get there eventually. So I played for a solid 2 hours today. It's one of my longer sessions because most of the time my head starts hurting if I play too many games in a row.
The last game I played was pretty intense. I knew I was in the lead the whole time but I couldn't stop thinking about what I'm doing wrong and how I should be macroing and injecting larva and all the mistakes I'm making. I eventually won, but I still felt like I could've done so much better.j
Anyway, still looking for people to practice with. So if anyone is interested in a best of 3 or 5, hit me up. I'm Hush#399 on the NA server.
One last thing... I didn't know whether to post this on my first blog or make a separate thread for it. What exactly is protocol here?

My cousins' girlfriend was totally uninterested in SC2 or WC3 (both of which he worked on) Instead she just played good ol Starjeweled junk

At least your both low skill level, trying to a friend of mine to play BW without having any prior knowledge is sooo aggravating. It's like when Day9 was coaching ShayTards to play SC2, I just want to take the mouse from them and yell "CLICK THE DAM GATEWAY!" Have fun while you can, women tend not to take games as seriously as men, soon enough you will be playing w/o her (in general, with any luck it lasts).

I haven't played in about 3 or 4 months I was platnium during season 1. I only played like 5 placement matches and stopped. So I have no idea how good people have gotten over the past few months. My ign is froobical. Add me ill play in around a month after my finals =p.

It's cool when you can share something you care about with your significant other. Just remember to share the love with one of her hobbies.

yea the game is immensely boring after a couple of games. Still, not as boring as Auir Chef. Blizzard sucks at map making even in custom ~_~
